We are recruiting for a full-time Insurance Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Washington Township, NJ. This position is benefits eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Acts as liaison between Outpatient Rehab/Patient’s Family/Insurance Company to coordinate care and reimbursement. Collects all necessary medical and insurance information. Performs various tasks associated with Outpatient Case Management, verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, processing patients upon admission and discharge. Accountable for the tracking and preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistical data and periodic reports for the Outpatient Program when required. Interacts with families of patients from infants, school age and/or adolescents up to and including age 20. Responsible for attending the Business Office Meetings on a monthly basis. Handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Department Director or his/her representative. Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties is required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Two years experience in clerical or business environment
- Articulate, tactful, and able to deal with people in a pleasing manner in both personal and telephone contacts
- Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively
