We are recruiting for a full time (benefit eligible) Bilingual(Spanish) Intake Coordinator to join our skilled pediatric team of professionals in Marlton, NJ!

Position Summary:
- Acts as liaison between Outpatient Rehab/Referral Sources/Patient Families/Insurance Company to coordinate care and reimbursement.
- Collects all necessary medical and insurance information.
- Performs various tasks associated with Outpatient registration, verifying benefits, providing benefit explanations to clients, securing medical history from referring MD, processing patients upon admission.
- Accountable for the tracking and preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistical data and periodic reports for the Outpatient Program when required.
- Interacts with families of patients from infants, school age and/or adolescents up to and including age 20.
- Responsible for attending the Business Office Meetings on a monthly basis.
- Handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Patient Relations Manager and Department Director or his/her representative.
- Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties is required.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of experience in healthcare environment
- Strong experience with insurance verifications, benefits and payer terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and client families
- Ability to function independently and under supervision as task requires
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR programs
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Bilingual, Spanish
