Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our Investor Relations team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and should be self-motivated, resilient, and personable. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn our business, identify high-quality prospective investors, and build meaningful relationships across various seniority levels.
Extensive travel is required.
3 years of previous experience in investment sales / marketing or capital introduction within the financial services industry is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement strategies to connect with high-quality prospective investors and expand our network.
- Increase brand awareness and market presence over time to strengthen relationships with potential investors.
- Represent the firm at conferences and social events, building relationships and scheduling follow-up meetings.
- Cultivate relationships with existing investors to ensure continuity in relationship management
- Research and analyze market intelligence to gain insights into competitors.
