What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Weiss Construction?
An integral part of a project team executing the construction of a project in a safe and profitable manner.
- Perform engineering calculations related to wastewater treatment system design, including process design and systems.
- Collaborating with equipment manufacturers in selecting and specifying wastewater treatment equipment.
- Reviewing Equipment Submittals and Requests-for-Information (RFIs)
- Conduct comprehensive site assessments, data collection, and analysis to develop customized treatment solutions that address specific client needs.
- Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions to optimize treatment system performance.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical insights, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project documentation including engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and progress updates.
- Provide leadership and support with craft management.
- All other duties assigned.
