High School or College Student Intern (League City, Texas)

Location (on-site): 201 Enterprise Ave, Unit 600B, League City, Texas 77573.

Weiss Dynamic Chiropractic is offering an unpaid, on-site internship for high school or college students seeking experience in administrative, marketing, and/or exercise science based fields. In this role, you will be working directly with Dr. Adam Weiss, DC, CSCS in our clinic.

College credit and/or letter of recommendations will be given by Dr. Adam Weiss for completed internships.

Responsibilities

• Understands the overall company, including the brand, patient, patient goals, and all other aspects of service including various modalities and treatment plans offered.
• Assist with incoming phone calls and email correspondence between clinic and patients.
• Assist with patient scheduling/rescheduling, utilizing Jane software (previous experience is a plus)
• Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Greet new patients and provide a high level of professionalism and service in the clinic.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Assists in creating performance reports.
• Assists with general clinic upkeep and tabling events.

Duration and Schedule

• The exact duration and schedule will be discussed with each applicant, based on their availability and academic schedule, with a tentative timeline of 3-6 months and approximately 20 to 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current high school or college student

• Strong academic performance (GPA, test scores, course load)

• Computer skills (note taking, transcription, general administration)

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from worksite
