Description
The Freelance Photo Assistant is responsible for assisting our photographer shooting our products during on and off-figure photoshoots. Typical hours for this position is 8:30a to 5:00p. This position is not full time and is booked on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Great understanding and application of photography and lighting techniques
- Support the photographer(s) on set during photo sessions to move/focus lights, set up sets, load in/out equipment, troubleshoot, etc.
- Communicate with client to understand their needs and wants
- Stay up to date with the latest techniques, equipment and the best practices, tools, and technology in your field
- Knowledge of Einstein lights and Capture One on a Mac
- Occasional digitech help on set
- Experience working with children, all models are between the ages of 3 and 16 years of age
- Experience photo assisting in a commercial studio
- Excellent knowledge of Canon R5 and 5D4, Capture One program, and Paul Buff Einstein lights and accessories
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
