Responsibilities:
- Weighing Operations:
- Monitor electronic scales to accurately measure the weights of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Ensure adherence to established weighing procedures and standards.
- Conduct routine checks and calibrations of scales for accuracy.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from contaminants.
- Identify and report discrepancies in material types and weights.
- Documentation and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate records of material weights, transactions, and any discrepancies observed.
- Generate and submit daily reports to the appropriate departments.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with other team members, scale operators, and supervisors to address any issues or concerns related to weighing processes.
- Provide timely feedback to drivers and customers regarding weighing procedures and results.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
