Weitzman is seeking a Leasing Representative to join our team in Uptown Dallas. This brokerage position offers the upside of a commission structure with the stability of a base salary and benefits. As a Leasing Representative, you will be part of a team that reports to the SVP | Director of Portfolio Leasing, and you will be responsible for an assigned portfolio of retail properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Responsibilities
- Source new tenants, negotiate, analyze and close lease transactions within the assigned portfolio
- Establish tenant and industry relationships
- Perform market surveys and cold calls
- Develop and send marketing packages and materials to potential tenants
- Thorough understanding of demographics, traffic patterns, and market trends
- Knowledge of competing shopping centers and rental rates
- Provide leadership to less experienced team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree degree in Business or Real Estate preferred
- Texas Real Estate License required
- 3 years experience in retail leasing with a strong deal sheet
- Experience canvassing and cold calling
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrated industry relationships
- Skilled in relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management, and organization
- Exhibit initiative, assertiveness, persistence, ambition, good judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once and to work independently in a high-pressure environment
- Dependable and punctual
- General knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint
