The Senior Director, Information Security works to define, monitor, and effectively deliver WelbeHealth's cybersecurity roadmap, architecture and program to align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The Senior Director, Information Security provides leadership and guidance within the IT department to ensure a proactive and risk-based approach to cybersecurity. This position is responsible for enterprise-wide support including coordination of response efforts during cybersecurity incidents and implementing a comprehensive security awareness training program for team members to ensure a strong cybersecurity culture at WelbeHealth.
The Senior Director, Information Security is a member of the WelbeHealth leadership team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and with external stakeholders to promote WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Essential Job Duties:
- Develop and implement WelbeHealth's information security strategy and policies/procedures that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the security operations function including incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and overseeing third-party vendor security.
- Ensure the highest level of data security and privacy for customer and corporate data, including encryption, access controls, and data classification.
- Build and maintain a robust security architecture that encompasses network, application and cloud security and endpoint protection.
- Responsible for risk management procedures that follow risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive information.
- Oversee the deployment and management of security and compliance technologies, ensuring optimal performance and effectiveness.
- Manage security incidents and investigations, while working closely with IT and legal teams to ensure quick resolution and minimize impact. Conduct regular tabletop exercises with leaders.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate security into the organization's strategic plans and initiatives. Communicate effectively with executives and board members about information security-related matters.
- Represent WelbeHealth during external security audits and liaise with law enforcement or regulatory bodies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while staying informed of the latest security technologies and threats.
- Manage the Information Security team including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field, required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information security, with at least five (5) years served in a leadership role.
- Proven experience developing and managing large-scale information security programs in fast-paced high growth environments.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and cybersecurity technologies in healthcare industry.
- Ability to process accurate information in a timely manner.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families and interdisciplinary team members.
- Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects.
- Highly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meet established goals.
