About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Market Development Representative (MDR) to join our growing team. As an MDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by contacting physician offices and introducing them to Welby Health's innovative virtual care programs.
Responsibilities:
- Contact physician offices via phone and email to schedule appointments for our Account Executives
- Effectively communicate the benefits of Welby Health's virtual care programs, highlighting their positive impact on workload reduction, patient outcomes, and revenue generation
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the challenges faced by physician practices
- Accurately track and record all sales activities in our CRM system
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads
- Achieve or exceed monthly appointment-setting goals
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve your sales skills and knowledge of Welby Health's offerings
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in an SDR/MDR role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of medical benefits and the healthcare industry
- Ability to effectively handle objections and persuade potential clients
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in using CRM software
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in a healthcare environment selling to physician offices is a plus
