Role Description: We are seeking highly motivated Business Development Representatives (BDR) interested in kick starting their career in sales. BDR's are the first point of contact for the sales team, an imperative first impression. Your PRIMARY task will be cold calling on new customers to spark interest in our material handling products and solutions. You will also be calling on accounts we believe are interested in our products and services introduced from warm leads.

- Compensation Range: Base of $50,000 plus commissions with the potential of $100,000
Responsibilities:
- The main responsibility of the position will be to drive new customer business into recurring revenue
growth by generating, qualifying, and developing leads into the sales team CRM pipeline. - Acts as an integral link between Marketing and Sales.
- The BDR must be able to plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly required activities to generate sales opportunities for the Welch Equipment sales team.
- Partner with the Marketing team to execute campaigns, programs, and closed-loop business & sales
development activities. - The BDR also works closely with Operations & Sales Management to drive new business.
- Strive for top market share and to be the leading forklift provider and forklift service provider in the industry.
- Contribute to and uphold our culture that encourages employees who hold the ability to create, think and challenge each other in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute the Welch Lead & Opportunity Management CRM processes for building a sales
pipeline. - Cold Calling to generate new customer leads
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to execute campaigns that ensure lead quality and
quantity. - Collaborate with marketing and sales operations on reporting and close rate analysis.
- Ensure CRM tools and Welch Equipment value-selling methodologies are leveraged to process
and track lead generated opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of ‘Material Handling' industry is a plus
- Fast-paced and Highly Driven, Self-Motivated, Customer focused individual
- Aptitude to think outside the box and create customer solutions on the spot
- Proven track record of achieving goals and/or quotas, or other similar objectives.
- Ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced, outside sales-oriented environment
- Confidence to prospect by ‘Cold Calling' and develop new sales leads
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with sales technology and CRM tools
