Responsibilities :
Pick up and deliver product to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.Load, Chain, and Strap all items to include unloading at customer drop offOperate forklifts onto and off trailersProvide excellent customer service.Maintain Bill of Lading with each shipment.Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsComplete daily maintenance report and notify supervisor of any needed repairs.Report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles.Communicate as needed with vendors any necessary changes and logistics to ensure proper delivery of equipment and services,Delivery radius of 100 miles, no over nights.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Possess a Class A or B CDLMust pass a background check and DOT physical and drug screenMust meet DOT and Company requirementsSome mechanical knowledge is preferredOne year experience with Dove Trailer and manual transmissionAbility to lift / carry up to 50 lbsGood written and verbal communication skillsMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Positive team playerExcellent communication skills.Demonstrated sense of urgency
