Experienced Line Cook

Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour

Job Summary:
Brook Hollow is seeking to add an experienced Full-time Line Cook to its Culinary team. that are dedicated to their craft and passionate about the hospitality industry. Must be a motivated self-starter that possesses a hunger for learning and growing with a team. Must be proficient, respectful of others and work in a neat and organized manner.
Job Qualifications:
- Prep and cook while working smart, clean and organized
- Take direction and feedback to ensure quality of product
- Sets up, maintains and breaks down pantry cook station
- Prepares all required items while maintaining quality and standards
- Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
- Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary
- Maintains neat professional appearance
- Always observe personal cleanliness rules
- Requisitions items needed to produce menu items
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations
- Maintains the highest sanitary standards
- Preparation of salads, sandwiches, fillings, dressings and other manager items
- Ensure Ala Carte orders are prepared in a timely manner

Physical Requirements:
- Required to bend, stoop, walk and stand up to 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift or push up to 50 lbs.
- Must have good or corrected vision to select/stock merchandise and read labels in English.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced busy environment.
