What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transporter position at Welcome House, Inc?
Provide transportation to and attend all client appointments (including dental, specialty, vision, psychiatric, and preventative care) and follow-ups for each client in the assigned cluster
Become familiar with and thoroughly knowledgeable of each client’s ISP
Ensure all pre-appointment requirements, including paperwork, signatures, and notifications are ready and in possession at the appointment
Communicate and document all post-appointment work, including any follow-up needs/concerns, meds, and MAR updates with the MCC and Site Supervisor
Provide support and assistance to the client during the appointment, including preparing to discuss all relevant client medical issues with physician during the appointment and having all proper paperwork completed and accurate
Maintain positive relationship with all physicians and their staff
