Job Description:
The Weld County Fair is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to assist in the coordination and management of fair entries. This position will report to the Fair Coordinator with direct support to Extension Agents, superintendents, clerks, and exhibitors in various administrative and data entry tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and using the ShoWorks entry system for fair registration.
- Updating and managing entries (both paper and online submissions).
- Creating judges' sheets and class sheets.
- Collaborating with superintendents to develop class breaks.
- Reporting fair results to local news outlets in a timely manner.
- Preparing and distributing various fair materials.
- Providing general administrative support within the fair office as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED. OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher).
- Experience with ShoWorks software is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with county fairs, 4-H, and FFA organizations is a bonus.
