- Minimum B. A. in Elementary Education
- Hold or be able to obtain Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License from the Colorado Department of Education in Elementary Ed with an endorsment of Reading Specialist (K-12)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience for elementary school students in English/Language Arts
- Strong background in ithe teaching of reading and writing
- Computer and Technology skills preferred.
- Able to work as a team member/experience with grade level, teaming and push in or pull out models preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Coaching available.
- All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Education.
- Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment.
- No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re 8 buildings.

POSITION: Elementary Reading Intervention .5 Teacher
SALARY RANGE: SALARY RANGE: School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. Salary Range of $47,500-$102,482. We will give all years depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for tuition reimbursement. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule. This will be based on education and experience.
