    POSITION: Reading Intervention Teacher at Butler Elementary School

    SALARY RANGE:Salary Range of $47,500 - $102,482 this based on 24-25 salary schedule, 25-26 salary schedule will be used for final offer. We will give all years depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for tuition reimbursement. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule. This will be based on education and experience.     QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

    • Minimum B. A. in Elementary Education (Reading endorsement/emphasis or certificate preferred).
    • Completion of CDE 45 hour READ Act Training Required.
    • Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' License from Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom.
    • Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success.
    • Strong background and successful experience in primary or elementary education, literacy and second language learning/English Language Acquisition.
    • Experience working with diverse populations and second language learners preferred.
    • Demonstrated skills and abilities in grade level teaming, data analysis, differentiated instruction and sheltering techniques preferred.
    • Computer and Technology skills preferred.
    • Ability to lead small groups and individualized instruction.
    • Ability to write Read Plan goals and action steps based on student data-driven needs.
    • Experience with monitoring and recording student progress on established goals.
