What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Warehouse Delivery Driver position at Weld County School District?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Colorado Class "C" driver's license.
- Meet current district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage
- Clean MVR
- Bilingual preferred.
- Or any other combination of related experience of related education, experience, and training.
- Handles, lifts, or carries any or all materials in the warehouse.
- Loads, transports, and delivers all materials according to schedule.
- Examines condition of shipments received and delivered, noting any damages, mis-counts, etc.
- Unpacks and verifies shipments received against the packing clip and purchase order for any discrepancies.
- Checks delivery truck and equipment to ensure it is in safe, working condition daily.
- Delivers and picks up special orders.
- Cleans and maintains order in the warehouse.
- Assists with stocking warehouse supplies.
- Assists with inventory counts and controls.
- Sets up orders for the district buildings.
- Fills in on other delivery routes.
- Transports confidential materials.
- Removes snow and ice from loading and unloading areas.
- Removes trash.
- Transports bank deposits.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures.
- Knowledge of district computer system.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicle and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to follow and successfully complete both oral and written directions.
- Ability to enunciate clearly and communicate positively throughout the work day.
- Ability to work with people of various personality types and maintain effective working relations.
- Ability to perform lifting and work in all kinds of weather.
