We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and documentation of construction projects, utilizing advanced drafting software and techniques to create precise plans and specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of construction principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and specifications using drafting software, including Tekla Structures, Tekla Estimodeling, Tekla Powerfab.
- Collaborate with project management teams to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure accuracy in designs.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and project changes.
- Support construction estimating processes by providing accurate measurements and material specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations throughout the drafting process.
Skills
- Proficient in drafting software such as Tekla Structures, Tekla Estimodeling, Tekla Powerfab.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies related to construction projects.
- Ability to perform cost control measures to maintain budgetary constraints.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to build comprehensive design documents.
- Experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.
