    The Weld Re-9 School District headquartered in Ault, Colorado is gathering a hiring pool for anticipated openings for the 2025-2026 school year.

    Position Summary:
    This position is responsible for the instruction of students in 9th-12th grade.

    Duties:
    • Develop course content in relation to the Colorado Academic Standards
    • Plan, organize, and implement effective instructional strategies and lessons
    • Monitor and evaluate student progress
    • Collaborate with colleagues in department and building level administration
    • Develop individualized lessons and programs for students as needed
    • Communicate students' academic progress and needs with appropriate stakeholders
    • Administer, edit, proofread, and grade student work in a timely manner
    • Additional job-related duties as assigned
    Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in teaching subject area with a teaching certification is preferred. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License. The Weld Re-9 School District is willing to work with candidates to provide alternative pathways to the classroom including alternative teacher licensure programs (bachelors degree in any field required), adjunct authorizations (5 years of work experience in the field the candidate will teach), and emergency or teacher of record authorizations (for individuals currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program).     Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $48,000-$63,000 per year depending on education, years of teaching experience, and professional development credits AS OF THE TIME OF THIS POSTING, WITH AN ANTICIPATED INCREASE ANNOUNCED IN LATE SPRING.
