Weldon Contractors is looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to oversee and implement our safety programs on all construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, and minimize risks to our team and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and protocols across all job sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors and/or temps.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and all field personnel to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve safety performance.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP) is preferred.
