About Our CNC Machinist
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated machinist with a strong desire to learn about our products. If you are delighted by precision work, even while learning new techniques and how to operate new machines, this is the position for you!
It’s a physical job - you may be on your feet for 90% to 95% of your workday. You will be expected to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. A commitment to safety in a heavy machinery environment is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and carry out the operations needed to make quality machined products from raw stock
- Interpret machine drawings, routings, and BOMs to understand and meet precise design specifications
- Operate machine tools such as CNCs, milling machines with FANUC controls, surface grinders, drill press, precision measuring tools/gauges, and various hand tools

Qualifications
- Comfortable in a machine shop setting and with the physical requirements of the position
- Three or more years of machining or similar experience, including setup and operation of CNC machines to produce precision metal parts
- Know or be able to learn how to perform machine basic offsets and complete setups
- Ability to read and understand machine drawings and manufacturing instructions
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

This is a full-time position with 1st and 2nd shifts available. Overtime is available as needed. Starting salary is within the posted range and is determined by experience, education, and potential.
