Assistant Store Manager - Calling All Dog Lovers!

Well Bred, a pet store with better products for dogs and cats and a gentle grooming salon is looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager for our store in Livingston NJ . Ideal candidate can work in multiple locations and on occasion is able to commute to our other stores.

• If you have management experience in retail or restaurant setting,
• Have computer skills (you will be doing reports and writing business emails)

The job includes working with retail and grooming customers, actively selling, advising customers on healthy nutrition, checking out customers, managing inventory, placing orders to the vendors and receiving deliveries, filing documentation and keeping the store clean and well merchandised at all times.

This job is NOT a sitting job and it requires to be on your feet all day as well as constantly lifting up to 30lb merchandise. You will be kneeling and bending while fitting harnesses or clothing on dogs.

You have to be able to use your experience with dogs and properly advise the dog's owners on the best products for their dogs. If you have experience with cats in addition to dogs, it's even better.

The job requires working on weekends (one or both weekend days depending on the business need).

We will provide you with an extensive training in nutrition and you will learn all aspects of the business.

The pay depends on your experience, your maturity to be a manager and selling skills.
