Requirements

Duties
- Conduct blood sampling using venipuncture and capillary techniques while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately to ensure proper handling and transportation.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during the specimen collection process.
- Document all procedures accurately in compliance with protocols and laboratory standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in phlebotomy is required.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and specimen collection processing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care practices within a clinical setting is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in various locations.
