The Logistics

Well Marriage Center Couples Therapists must be clinically licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD/PhD), have a preferred minimum of 10 years of clinical experience post-grad school, and should have an eclectic/diverse “toolbox” of approaches, methods, and interventions for helping individuals and couples.

This position will have a minimum 4 days of in-office availability and either 2 evenings (5pm, 6pm and 7pm blocks of time) or weekend availability. We also have virtual clients but in-person is the current demand.

This is a W2, commission-based, pay structure which allows us to pay therapists more and also keep the tax structure simple.

• All private-pay clients! No hassling with insurance companies for reimbursement.
• Higher functioning clients with minimal Axis 2 disorders.
• Not a position that requires a lot of paperwork. We keep things streamlined.

• We have a team of 30 outstanding therapists (This team is the best perk!)

Full Time or Part Time - we'll consider either. Our team has built a great reputation and we're interested in someone who can provide the highest quality therapy for our Short Pump and surrounding communities. This is an ideal position for someone who likes to be in the room with couples but doesn't enjoy the business and marketing aspects as much. You get to focus on the clinical care of couples!
