Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and exercise for our office dog, Remington. Remington needs to be walked 1-2 times per day, and enjoys about a 45 minute walk each time. You would be responsible for picking him up and driving up the road to a local cemetary where he loves to go for a nice walk! Once in the morning around 9:45 am and again on some afternoons around 3 pm. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle a 65lb labradoodle.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.
- Maintain control of dogs at all times, using appropriate handling techniques to ensure safety.
- Monitor the behavior and health of each dog during walks, reporting any concerns to the pet owner as needed.
- Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior.
- Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owner regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of each walk, including time spent, distance covered, and any notable observations about the dog's behavior or health.
Generally he needs 2 walks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and one walk on Tuesdays and Fridays and occasional Saturdays (usually 1 a month)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
