The Village at Brookwood offers a full continuum of care services for older adults, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.
We are hiring a full-time CNA / Med Tech, 7a-3p Duties to include : Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to Nursing Service policies and procedures.
Satisfactorily access and maneuver in the electronic record to obtain necessary information. Answer call lights and resident requests and notify nursing staff in a timely manner.
Safely administer medications according to physicians’ orders, following infection control standards and universal precautions.
Document medication administration accurately in the electronic system. Report changes in residents’ conditions to Charge Nurse or Supervisor and to others on the unit at shift change and throughout the shift as needed.
Work with the charge nurse to reorder medications in a timely manner. Fulfill other duties contained in the CNA job description.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
Completed approved Nurse Aide Training course.
Completed Med Tech training. Currently listed with the NC Nurse Aide Registry. Good standing with the state Med Aide Registry.
