Position Title : Senior iOS Developer
Reporting To : Engineering Manager
Location : A Well hub preferred (Chapel Hill, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Boston, MA; New York, NY), but will consider other locations in the U.S.
Compensation : This role can be hired for as a Senior Software Engineer 3 ($147,000-$165,000) depending on qualifications, plus bonus potential and benefits
Job Summary :
You will be a primary contributor in the development of a world-class, highly-scalable iOS application for our engagement and behavior change platform. In this role you will collaborate with designers and software engineers to design, develop, release, and maintain Well's iOS app in all phases of the development and application lifecycle. Ownership, self-motivation, teamwork, and experience working in a fast-paced environment are highly desired.
Key Responsibilities :
- Consistently deliver new features and functionality aligned with design and product requirements in a rapid, high quality manner
- Work with the design and product teams to evaluate designs, reduce complexity, and decrease time to market for enhancements and features
- Take ownership of key components and functionality. Promote best practices to improve the quality and maintainability of Well's iOS application
- Be a key contributor and participant of the iOS development team in the software development lifecycle by participating in code reviews, quality assurance, and production monitoring duties
- Coach and mentor junior developers
