JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for enhancing and refining the company’s up-to-date digital solutions to further the growth of the organization. Success in this role will include using innovation and creativity to leverage cutting-edge technology, ensuring an exceptional customer and agent experience. Attributes include:
- Maintain, develop, and implement a comprehensive digital strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the leadership team with business functions including distribution to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, innovation, product development, and enhancement.
- Lead initiatives, continually improving on our innovative tools, processes, and systems to enhance project delivery, client engagement and self-service.
- Build and lead a high-performing team. This includes providing mentorship and training to develop skillsets and ensuring talent pool to address business objectives.
- Continuous assessment of organizational alignment, to ensure speed and momentum are adequately maintained.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders regarding strategic direction and implementation of technologies including, among other things: all forms of artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including cloud management, networks, and systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and data security.
- Leverage third party technology solutions to provide on-going value from the relationships within the framework of appropriate risk management and manage ongoing relationships with technology partners, ensuring quality service and cost-effectiveness of solutions.

- Responsible for establishing current and long-range direction of technology aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. Generally, this may include the analysis of purchased systems, hardware and software, or the internal design and development of hardware and software systems.
- Dispenses technical advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures.
- Coordinates the design, development, marketing, and maintenance of technology projects or product lines.
- Participates in quarterly Business Plan Review and Board of Director meetings to promote and communicate current technology initiatives.
- Demonstrates competency working in cloud-based environment.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, assessing implications to strategy and developing action plans when applicable.
- Visible participation and networking in industry conferences, forums, and round table discussions.
- Oversees workflow, feedback, and fostering a positive work environment by training, hiring, leading direct reports.
- Leads the organization by providing feedback, fostering a culture of betterment, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Adhere to ERM Framework, ensuring proper controls are in place and followed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related field. Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Experience
- 12 years' in progressively responsible technology and innovation leadership roles.
- Insurance or financial services experience, a plus.
