POSITON SUMMARY
WIS is seeking a skilled Human Resources Leader to become our HR Manager for the North America (NAM) Region. The HR Manager serves as a strategic advisor to leadership and a trusted resource for employees across the region. This role is responsible effective collaboration at all organizational levels and close partnership with other HR functions to address people-related challenges, develop practical solutions, and contribute to the planning, design, and execution of HR initiatives to ensure the delivery of effective and
consistent HR services that drive business success. This is an on-site role based at WIS’s corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas, and includes some travel.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as a member of the HR Leadership Team responsible for the strategy, design and delivery of WIS people strategies.
· Work closely with regional leaders to deliver key HR services and initiatives to support the region to execute the NAM business plan.
· Operate as a trusted business partner and advisor by fostering strong relationships and developing a solid understanding of team cultures, business goals and industry attributes.
· Develop and execute efficient plans, processes and solutions to attract and engage top talent; proactively seek talent solutions for hard to fill roles in challenging talent markets.
· Anticipate business needs and workforce trends; recommend adjustments to talent, compensation, training and development strategies as needed.
· Drive performance management throughout the year by coaching leaders on appropriate goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement efforts.
· Investigate employee claims and concerns and recommend fair and consistent solutions that mitigate risk and foster a positive work culture.
· Lead HR initiatives that drive transformation, scalability, and continuous improvement in a rapidly evolving environment.
· Plan, coach, lead and facilitate the implementation of behavioral, cultural, organizational, diverse, team.
· Leverage the appropriate HR Operations, Benefits and Payroll functions to deliver high quality HR programs and complete required tasks while keeping track of details, deliverables, timelines, and due dates.
· Take ownership of HR data integrity for the NAM region, make use of quantitative approaches to enable data driven decision making, understand underlying issues, identify risks, formulate solutions and engage stakeholders both in business and in HR.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree and at least 5-8 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
· Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects
· Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence outcomes, and provide effective coaching and consultation.
· Self-motivated, ability to quickly learn, ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, strong analytical skills, results driven – drive issues to closure, ability to deal with ambiguity, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage quick turnaround without losing quality, influence positive outcomes, share insights and opinions on business/HR related matters.
· Strong understanding of data and HRIS systems with the ability to speak knowledgeably on trends, statistics, and comfort using KPIs/OKRs to drive business growth.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Proficient with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Oil & Gas industry experience
· Experience in manufacturing environment
· Experience with a global or multi-national organization
· Experience with UKGPro, UKG Dimensions, UKG OneView, UKG Workforce Management, or Kronos
