What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Education and Training Coordinator position at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research?
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting all staff education and training programs. Work with facility leadership to prioritize training and education needs.
RESPONSIBILITES
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
- Partner with Wellbridge leadership to assess and update staff education and training needs on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, both internal and external, in developing a variety of staff education and training experiences.
- Create presentations and other needed visual aids for all education and training sessions.
STAFF EDUCATION
- Support the diverse professional development needs of Team Wellbridge by creating an annual education and training plan, monthly schedules of training, and coordinating outside training opportunities for staff.
- Host and coordinate all outside education and training providers.
- Serve as a primary presenter for all staff education and required training.
- Work with Wellbridge leadership to assure all team members meet regulatory and accreditation required training.
- Manage the documentation of staff training record.
NEW STAFF ORIENTATION
- Develop, and refine as needed, a robust program for new staff onboarding and orientation.
- Manage regularly scheduled new staff orientation experiences for new hires.
- Serve as the primary presenter for each new staff orientation cohort.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical or education discipline preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
- Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the addiction treatment process and recovery.
- Exceptional understanding of the workings of staff education, curriculum development, and training.
- Practical knowledge of common office applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in staff development, education and/or training in a related field.
- Experience in addiction treatment preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
