About the Role:
- Prepares, administers, and documents all medications used across the health campus.
- Maintains resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
- Ensures that all medications brought into the health campus by new residents are examined and identified by the attending physician or the facility pharmacy.
- Contributes to creating a caring environment where residents feel valued and safe.
- Follows health campus policies and procedures regarding the disposal of medications.
Requirements:
- Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide).
- Experience as a QMA or CMA in long-term care or home care settings is advantageous.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
