Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer medications as directed by nursing staff and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide support to patients during medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Assist with mobility needs, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Educate patients and their families on basic care practices and health management.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner is preferred.
- Experience working in a teaching hospital or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous.
- Ability to administer medications accurately under supervision.
- Experience caring for children is a plus, demonstrating versatility in patient care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
