Full job description
We are seeking full time occupational therapists to join our home health pediatric therapy practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We currently have one clinic based position and two hybrid community/home based position open.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Our OT position at WellCare is a part of a dynamic and growing team. OT’s provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for physical delays in children. These plans are part of a team which can consist of ABA, Physical, and Speech Therapy, so COLLABORATION is CRITICAL. The client base for this position will be primarily be children ages 2-21, with developmental delays including, but not limited to ASD. OT clients may be seen in our clinic location, in their homes, daycare setting, or private/charter school location.

Job Duties
Provides therapy to restore self-care, work, and leisure skills to clients from newborn to 21 years of age who have specific performance incapacities or deficits.
Evaluate and treat concerns arising from developmental deficits, physical illness or injury, emotional disorders, the aging process, and psychological or social disability.
Communicate with clients and families on how to cope with occupational disorders and teaching sensory-integration techniques.
Document progress and make necessary changes to treatment plans for approval from the physician.
Employ a variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs of the client.
Collaborate with other therapists and client’s family to implement strategies for treatment.
Maintain appropriate records.
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or COTA from an Accredited Institution
Current DORA License (or pending)
BLS CPR Certified
Driver's License and Insurance
Preferred Experience/Skills:
In-Home Therapy experience
Pediatrics
Use of EMR Software, preferably WebPT
