Job Overview
WellCare Support is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Adheres to the company’s Code of Ethics and all other agency policies and procedures
- Arrives on time for assignments and fulfills the time authorized on the clients plan of care for each service
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation to ensure patient well-being.
- Monitor and Record Vital Signs (if required) and promptly report any health changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or care coordinator.
- Provide Companionship & Emotional Support, fostering a positive, comfortable, and engaging environment for clients.
- Perform Light Housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space, including laundry, dishwashing, and basic tidying.
- Assist with Mobility & Transfers, ensuring proper lifting techniques, use of mobility aids, and safety measures to prevent falls or injuries.
- Adhere to HIPAA Regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding patient health information and personal records.
- Support Clients’ Rights & Independence, promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy in all aspects of care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals, following personalized care plans developed by Registered Nurses (RNs) and other medical staff to provide the highest quality care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient locations.
- Ability to use electronic devices to access Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems for clocking in and out, ensuring accurate tracking of completed work.
- A strong understanding of home healthcare agency operations and willingness to follow all agency policies and procedures.
- Candidates must have the ability to learn quickly, retain information effectively, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
- A certified Nursing assistant/aide; or
- Completion of a 40-hour training course that meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in the “Rules Regulations for Private Care Agencies in Arkansas.”; or
- Have demonstrated competency in providing basic nursing care as a nursing student with documentation from Director of programs or the Dean of school of Nursing attesting to such competency in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Must be able to pass a state background check.

- Do you have experience using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation? If yes, please list the systems you have used:
- Are you able to follow personalized care plans developed by Registered Nurses and communicate any concerns or changes in a client’s condition?
- Are you familiar with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality?

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
