What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Driver position at Weller Brothers Professional Landscaping?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and competency satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
- Safely operate light to heavy-duty equipment on a daily basis.
- Distribute inventory from the main yard as needed to job sites.
- Safely unload materials from delivery trucks and distribute them properly throughout the assigned yard areas.
- Safely load and unload equipment on and off trailers.
- Safely load and unload bulk and palletized materials into and out of dump trucks with a skid steer.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all working areas, including but not limited to the shop, yard, and job sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on light to heavy-duty equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and job site ready on a daily basis.
- Ability and willingness to perform landscape and maintenance duties as needed and directed by the supervisor.
- Follow all policies as specified in the Team Member Handbook.
- Retain, label, and submit all receipts timely and accurately.
- Assist with snow removal during winter months.
- Commit the hours necessary to make sure the job is done to satisfaction; this may include weekends, holidays and/or hours outside of standard business hours.
- Timely input of hours on LMN software to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
- Other duties needed to help drive and fulfill the Weller Brothers Mission.
