- Accurately picks and prepares orders in the warehouse using an advanced electronic scanning system.
- Efficiently loads outbound trucks using forklifts, ensuring timely and secure shipments.
- Bands, labels, and scans freight for proper tracking and inventory management.
- Delivers inbound freight to the appropriate departments, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Conducts thorough load inspections to confirm secure and safe load transportation.
- Manually lifts and places heavy parts into shipping containers with attention to safety.
- Operates hoists and lifts to load outbound skids and shipping crates for efficient shipping.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning and tidying the department.
- Demonstrates consistent attendance, a critical component of the role.
- Completes additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and operations.
- Must stand for 8 hours per day.
- Frequent walking.
- Hearing protection may be required in some areas.
- The ability to see fine details may be required during performance of some functions.
- Fine motor skills are required (finger / hand manipulation).
- May need to lift weight greater than 50 lbs. at times.
