What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Experience Associate - Golf Shop position at Wellesley Country Club?
In this role, you serve as a representative of Wellesley Country Club staff, integral in the overall Member Experience in the Golf Shop. Members of the Retail Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service to our Membership and their Guests. Retail Team Members must be positive, attentive, and learn to anticipate the needs of the members. We are seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to help manage and perform the daily functions associated with our Golf Shop and Membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Retail with day-to-day operation execution of the Retail Operation
- Assist the Golf Professionals with Member and Guest events
- Conduct and reconcile inventory
- Interact with Members and Guests in a positive and helpful manner
- Maintain the Golf Shop floor
o Apparel should be folded tight and stacked properly
o All tags tucked/not visible
o Apparel on hangers should be steamed, neat and in size order
o Floor should be clean and free of debris
o Fixtures should be clean and neat
- Customer Service
o Greet Members and Guests within moments of entering the Golf Shop with a smile
o Shop phone should be answered professionally within two to three rings with a smile
o Offer your services by pointing out new merchandise, ask how you can assist, etc.
o Be aware of all current promotions and sales
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
