.NET & BI Integration Developer

We are seeking a seasoned .NET Developer with Power BI Experience to join our dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal for developing and enhancing our data-driven applications, focusing on creating robust, scalable, and efficient .NET applications while leveraging Power BI for business intelligence and data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

.NET Application Development:

• Develop and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core to support business operations and data processes.

• Design and implement APIs and service-oriented architecture to enhance application integration and data automation across systems such as ERP and CRM.

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and maintain code quality and organization using version control tools like Git.

Integration and Automation:

• Utilize .NET technologies to create custom data connectors and integrate Power BI for seamless data reporting and visualization.

• Automate data flows and reporting processes to ensure efficient data synchronization and accessibility.

• Collaborate with IT and data teams to leverage cloud-based technologies, possibly Azure, for improved scalability and performance.

Power BI Development:

• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards as needed to enhance data visualization and decision-making capabilities.

• Assist in the transformation and structuring of data using Power Query and DAX for use in business reporting.

• Create interactive and user-friendly visual reports that provide actionable insights and support strategic business decisions.

Data Management and Analysis:

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used across .NET applications and Power BI reports.

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support optimization and improvements in business processes.

• Provide technical expertise in SQL and relational databases to optimize data retrieval and manipulation.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

• Provide training and support to business users, enabling effective use of the developed applications and reporting tools.

• Communicate complex data and system-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:

• Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure the performance and reliability of .NET applications and integrated reporting solutions.

• Document all phases of the software development lifecycle and ensure that up-to-date documentation is available for end users and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in .NET development, including hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

• Strong experience with Power BI and related business intelligence tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and visualizations.

• Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.

• Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure, and API development is highly desirable.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
