Senior Azure SQL Database Developer: We are a fast-paced and innovative organization that leverages cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional solutions for our customers. We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Azure SQL Database Developer to join our team. This role involves designing and optimizing database solutions using Azure SQL, building efficient ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory, and collaborating on data-driven solutions in a microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities:Azure SQL Development:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and optimized Azure SQL database solutions.

• Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

• Monitor and enhance database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Support database integration within a microservices architecture to enable seamless communication across distributed systems.

ETL Development with Azure Data Factory:

• Design, build, and manage robust ETL pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets.

• Implement incremental data loads and delta processing for efficient daily updates.

• Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to integrate data from various sources.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all deliverables.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes and database schemas.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in Azure SQL development.

• 4 years of experience in ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.

• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.

• Proven expertise in building and optimizing incremental data load processes.

• Hands-on experience with integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs, flat files, and cloud-based storage.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and database integration in distributed systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Databricks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database and ETL deployments.

• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and other semi-structured data formats.

• Certifications in Azure Data Engineer or Azure Database Administrator.

• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestrators like Kubernetes.
