Lead Provider for After School Child Care (ASCC)

School Days 2:00-5:30 pm, Early Dismissal Days 11:00-5:30 pm

LOCATION:

Wellfleet Elementary School

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

The ASCC lead provider will be responsible for program development, activity design, supervision of children, daily attendance record, family communication, and awareness of the whereabouts of every child in his/her charge.  The lead provider will report to the ASCC site coordinator and/or Wellfleet Elementary Principal.  The lead provider has training pertinent to the developmental needs of school-age children. 

The lead provider will:

participate in required professional development including, but not limited to, First Aid and CPR; 

work collaboratively with the Wellfleet Elementary School day staff for the transition of programs and integration of curriculum from the school day program. 

*The lead provider is welcome to assist the site coordinator in creating the ASCC Activity Plan, order program materials and/or equipment, and set-up of the dedicated program space.  *Summer hours will be paid at the lead provider’s hourly rate.

The lead provider will be supervised, managed, and evaluated by the Wellfleet Elementary Principal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s Degree and nine months experience working with school-age children preferred.

SALARY:

$28.26/hr
