Job Summary
This 109-day assignment requires the physician to provide comprehensive emergency care, including evaluation, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies. The successful candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of emergency medicine, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
The facility type is an emergency department, and the schedule includes various 10-hour shifts (7a-5p, 11a-9p, 3p-1a, 10p-8a). The physician will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of emergency conditions, as well as performing various procedures, such as wound care, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and orthopedic device application.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with other healthcare team members, and adhere to all medication policies and procedures. Participating in administrative duties as required (approximately 5% of time) is also essential.
