We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the VP of Finance and collaborating across multiple business units, independently focused on specialty areas of insurance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with a particular focus on supporting the strategic and operational needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Lead and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budget processes for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Analyze financial results, including variance analysis, and provide insights to senior management on key performance drivers.
- Monitor the financial performance of the various entities and assist in identifying opportunities for financial optimization and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in evaluating and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions, and other strategic investments.
- Create financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to assess the impact of M&A activity on the organization.
- Support the integration of acquired businesses, including financial reporting, systems integration, and operational analysis.
- Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A and accounting processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance financial reporting systems.
