The Wanderers Club is a casual, multi-generational private golf and country club in the heart of the equestrian community of Wellington, Florida. The Club's full array of amenities and services are centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle found only in Wellington. We serve a vibrant community of more than 600 Member families in areas ranging from golf, racquet, and swimming to childcare, events, and dining.
OVERVIEW
The Caf & Pool Supervisor is responsible for leading the Caf and pool teams to deliver exceptional service to Members and guests. This role combines customer service, casual food service, barista skills, and simple food preparation. Prior experience in a service role, especially in a leadership capacity within a country club, caf, or juice / smoothie bar, is required.
Requirements
JOB TASKS AND DUTIES
- Ensure the Caf is properly set up each day and that the previous day's setup was broken down correctly.
- Monitor and adjust par levels for smoothies, coffee, juice, grab-and-go food, and their ingredients.
- Order Caf supplies, including beverages, food, supplements, and dry goods.
- Maintain continuous communication with other departments, including Locker Room, Golf, Food & Beverage, Events, and Fitness.
- Greet each Member and guest in the Caf and pool area upon arrival, using their names whenever possible.
- Build rapport with Member families.
- Resolve any Member or guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Accurately take and input food and beverage orders into the POS system (Jonas) and ensure timely delivery.
- Train staff on the proper preparation of smoothies, juices, and espresso-based drinks.
- Instruct staff on cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation protocols in the Caf.
- Process credit card and house account payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and service area.
- Assist with pool area organization and service as needed.
- Greet and serve Members and guests at the pool.
- Provide coverage at the Locker Room desk when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other applicable laws.
- Follow all safety, accident, and emergency policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager or Director.
