The Wanderers Club is seeking a friendly and responsible individual to join our team of Supervised Care Attendants. We are a family-friendly country club located in Wellington, serving hundreds of families who are members of the Club.
We offer a variety of activities and amenities, including golf, tennis, pickleball, childcare, food & beverage, events, a swimming pool, and more. Our Kids Club (also known as Tuskers) is a cozy space for potty-trained children aged 2-10. We also oversee an arcade available to older kids without supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
Requirements:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a passion for working with children
• Be physically able to lift and move children (if necessary)

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in recreational activities for children, including games, toy play, crafts, and make believe.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in the program by providing close supervision of all activities.
- Provide a safe and fun environment for participants in Tuskers.
- Plan activities and events for indoor/outdoor and pool areas.
- Work cooperatively with food & beverage, housekeeping, and other departments.
- Assist children with homework and guide students in their academic growth.
- Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings, staff meetings, and special events/holidays.
- Provide help to the Youth Coordinator or other counselors.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward co-workers, other departments, and members.
- Keep the room neat and orderly, tidying up and disinfecting frequently.
- Clean before and after the program begins.
- Proactively respond to any issues and concerns regarding Tuskers and The Wanderers Club.
- Make recommendations to the Youth Director for improvement on equipment, supplies, facility, and program needs.
- Set up and move furniture.
- Be flexible and adaptable to new situations.
- Be available and flexible for holidays, nights, weekends, and camp weeks/summer months.
- Maintain uniform standards (name tag, black closed shoes, Tuskers shirt, black sweater).
- Provide safety inside the pool and water activities.
