We are looking for a seasoned Flavor and Ingredient Expert to join our client's R&D department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing flavor profiles, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement flavor profiles for new and existing products, ensuring they meet business objectives and customer needs
- Sourcing high-quality ingredients, including natural and artificial flavors, spices, and seasonings
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Conduct sensory evaluations and provide feedback to product development teams to ensure flavor consistency and quality
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Food Science or equivalent with 8-12 years of experience OR Masters degree (M.S.) in Food Science with 5-10 years of experience in food research and development, or applications with food ingredient and formulations.

- Natural product utilization - Develops and implements flavor profiles using natural products, including herbs, spices, and botanicals
- Regulatory compliance - Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and USDA regulations

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and SOPs
