Position Details
Wellington Exempted Village Schools (Lorain County) seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our technology staff as our Technology Analyst
Reports to: Technology Coordinator
Days: 260-day contract with vacation time and holidays
Compensation: Commiserate with experience, along with competitive benefits aligned with the WEA collective bargaining agreement.
Job Objective: Provide maintenance, service and support of technology hardware, software, and related issues throughout the District as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional certifications: A , Network
- ?Professional certifications in Windows, Azure, Active Directory, etc a plus (MCP, MCSA/MCSE)
- Experience working with/administering:
- Active Directory/EntraID/LDAP
- Networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, etc)
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare)
- MDM/Mobile Device Management (Azure MDM, JAMF, etc)
- Cloud-managed network administration (Meraki/Extreme/Ubiquiti/etc)
- Managing a mixed-OS environment (Windows/MacOS/ChromeOS/etc)
- VOIP phone system
- On-site security: NVR/camera system and access control hardware/software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for issues arising from hardware, software, or user error
- Interpersonal skills – The ability to communicate effectively and with kindness toward a diverse user base of faculty, staff, students, and parents. Strong skills in written, verbal, and non-verbal communication.
- Precise and accurate record-keeping – Document new procedures for future reference and maintain records of actions performed/fixes applied in Help Desk system
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented – Able to work unsupervised, seek feedback, seat and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Goal-oriented – Able to set and achieve goals, meeting deadlines and submitting timely progress reports. Able to prioritize tasks appropriately.

Physical Requirements:
Duties involve lifting/moving materials weighing up to fifty pounds and climbing/working from ladders, scaffolds or mechanical lifts.
The ability to stoop, kneel, reach crawl, carry, push, pull, climb, balance and see.
Essential Functions
- Assist staff and students in the proper use, care, and operation of technology equipment.
- Setup, configure, and install technology hardware and software including servers, network equipment, and specific classroom applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technology issues.
- Request and stock supplies and parts as required for equipment repair.
- Oversee work of student workers/interns to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all District data.
- Follow procedures set up for inventory control.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to the District acceptable use policy, copyright laws, and software licensing requirements.
- Provides assistance to staff in the area of instructional technology.
- Works with the technology department to solve network, communication, and software problems.
- Communicates effectively with Technology Coordinator regarding issues and concerns about damage, needed repairs, and technology issues.
- Exemplifies professionalism. Fosters goodwill to enhance the district’s public image.
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
- Develops and maintains mutually respectful relationships with co-workers. Functions as part of a cohesive team.
- Maintains a professional appearance. Wears work attire appropriate for the position.

Working Conditions:
- Safety is essential to job performance. Employees must comply with applicable workplace safety regulations, health laws and district policies/procedures.
- The schedule will be Monday through Friday with seasonally adjusted start times based on District/departmental needs.
- Occasional evening/weekend/holiday assignments may be required.
- There may be an opportunity for off-site training/conferences as is appropriate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
