About the Role
THE POSITION
We are looking for a Recruiter / Business Developer to join our global talent acquisition team. Based in either Boston or New York, this position will lead a range of searches at a variety of career levels, with primary focus working across Wellington's alternative investment strategies. This includes, but not limited to, private equity, private credit, global macro and our equity and credit long / short hedge funds.
The Recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting from requisition creation, sourcing, interview, and ultimately offer negotiation. They will ensure that every search incorporates diversity-sourcing strategies, and effectively partner and collaborate with colleagues in the HR team and investment leadership teams to successfully identify and hire strong investment talent. Whilst most of the sourcing will be undertaken directly, it is expected that on occasion the Recruiter will partner with external vendors to help identify talent. Responsibilities will include :
- Talent identification and brand promotion : proactively identify and engage with high-caliber investment talent at all levels through various channels including networking, online platforms and industry forums
- Candidate evaluation : Assess candidates' skills, experience and cultural alignment for various investment
- oriented roles, including analysts, associates, portfolio managers, and senior executives
- Collaboration : With hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on relevant market trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape
- Acquisition : Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is :
USD 100,000 - 225,000
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and / or Incentives, if eligible.
