- Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled surgeries, including patient details and medical terminology.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to scheduling and patient management.
- Assist in the preparation of care plans as needed, ensuring all relevant information is documented.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with patients and their families.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
