About the role
The Operations Production Manager will play a critical role in helping Wellinks to scale operations as we grow. This position will mainly focus on inventory tracking and asset management - owning and understanding the process as it exists now and helping to manage and improve it through growth. This position will also assist as needed with fulfillment activities and manage various improvement initiatives related to fulfillment, returns, sales and account operations, etc.
What you'll do
- Establish method and maintain tracking Inventory of finished goods (health tags) as well as components (like stands and cords, etc) for kitting.
- Establish method and track mobile device movement ins and outs - this includes incoming, WIP, RMA, and in various inventory locations in the field.
- Assist in improving the RMA process with CS, Fulfillment, and Quality.
- Analyze throughput & ensure safely stock meets required levels.
- Place replenishment orders as needed.
- Develop and report KPIs on dashboard (in partnership with engineering).
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to understand demand and analyze trends.
- Work with Quality and Engineering on the development of process improvements, investigation of quality issues, and ISO audits.
- Follow appropriate quality procedures and partner with QA to put procedures in place where none exist.
- Analyze operational efficiency of all related processes.
- Use data to drive improvements across Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience related to mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing
- 1-3 years managerial experience preferred
- Ability to communicate to all levels internally, and externally with customers/suppliers
- Experience with production/kitting/fulfillment
- Experience with statistical analysis, data-driven decision-making, and process control techniques.
- Ability to derive insights and meaning from data
- Adaptable with an ability to influence and lead others through change
- Light SQL knowledge at a minimum
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency using Microsoft (Excel, SharePoint), Google (Sheets) applications..
- Experience with Enzyme eQMS and Netsuite ERP, and the ability to learn almost any inventory related software.
- Analytical decision making and good judgment
- Warehouse management related knowledge
- Ability to understand, perform and improve procedures quickly
- Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 820 & ISO 13485) EHS and GMP’s
- Knowledge of safety standards for manufacturing
- Some physical requirements, such as ability to lift boxes up to x 50 lbs.
